This Ars article on WiFi is well written and informative.


It provides a solid basic technical explanation of WiFi, in words anyone that uses computers can understand.

I am in the planning stages for setting up good, gaming quality, home WiFi LAN, so I am mining this article for hints and tricks for setting one up.
